Music has been part of the worship experience since ancient humans would drum and dance around a fire giving thanks for a good harvest.
Music is unifying. It opens hearts, and sets the mood for what’s coming next. Music can raise or lower the energy of your service in a matter of seconds. Most importantly though, music in ministry must support the Sunday message.
Whatever the size of your music ministry, there is a musical solution for you. Learn where you can easily access the storehouse of contemporary songs, sheet music, and performance tracks as well as choral music, from our ever-growing body of positive “posi” music.
Technology has presented us with opportunities to reach people in new ways. I will also share some tips about copyright and licensing when applied to church settings as well as live streaming and archiving.
Other topics include, creating an order of service that keeps live stream viewers tuned in, and the Music Director/Minister relationship.

This is a TWO-STEP registration.

STEP 2: After submitting the payment form, you will receive an email containing the Zoom Registration Links for both sessions.
- Group Registrants: Share these links with the members of your group and please direct them to choose (1) session to attend, click the corresponding link, and complete the attendee form on Zoom. They will receive an individual personalized link to their chosen session.
UWM no longer pre-certifies CEUs for Ministers and LUTs. The UWM Eastern Region has designed and is offering sessions which we believe are CEU worthy and in relevant areas such as inclusivity, ethics, ministry operations, methods of teaching and self-care practices. Ministers and LUTs are required to track and document their potential CEUs and submit them yearly with their annual report. Please maintain copies of all registration confirmations and payment receipts for your records.
